Kamisoe (2022)
Shot a small clip of karakami craftsman, Kado-san printing paper in his little studio just above his shop in Kyoto. Karakami is a decorative paper projected onto Japanese washi by hand-painting using woodblock printing, and came to be used for interior decorations such as folding screens, sliding doors and wallpaper.

Yoshidagura (2021)
Yoshida Shuzo, 150-year-old sake brewery located at the foot of Mt. Hakusan in Ishikawa, has spent more than 1o years creating a new sake series called “Yoshidagura_u”, which launched in 2021. I visited them in January 2021 and captured their craft of traditional sake making in photos and a short film.
“TETSUYA OTANI with yorifune” (2019)
Shot a short film about Japanese ceramist, Tetsuya Otani for Gallery Yorifune. Summer 2019, we visited his studio located in the middle of mountains in Shigaraki, one of the oldest pottery sited in Japan. Read more on Yorifune magazine.
